The interview process is one of our best opportunities to get to know you, and for you to get to know us and our business. In most cases, candidates will meet with an interview panel consisting of a Human Resources representative, the hiring manager, and a subject matter expert.

You’ll be asked questions about your academic achievements, qualifications and work experiences, and you’ll have a chance to ask some questions of us. You should also have a good sense of what value you think you may bring to our business and be prepared to offer examples of your past achievements or successes.

Apex Utilities completes a comprehensive background check for all selected candidates. This includes but is not limited to:

  •         criminal record check,
  •         professional references,
  •         education and experience verification,
  •         driver’s abstract and driving evaluation.

For identified Safety Sensitive positions and Risk Sensitive positions, additional screening may include, but is not limited, to the following:

  •         Physical Demands Analysis,
  •         Drug and Alcohol Screening,
  •         Audiometric Assessment, and
  •         Olfactory Assessment.

Once the Pre-Employment Screening process is completed to Apex Utilities’ satisfaction, a formal written offer may be presented to you detailing terms of employment.
